risking a 1 week mute:
long, long time ago, I downloaded this game, played it till level 6, googled and found someone sharing the key, played it and stopped playing. Then, years later, I wanted to play again, but I wanted to contribute (and had lost the key I used before and thought it cheating to look for a new one) so I bought the serial key (that was much more expensive than if I'd bought it the first time around, which should give some clue to how long ago it was)
now to why I share this:
long, long ago, this game was made by just a few people who sold it for just a little money, and as development progressed, more money was charged. The more money came in, the more time there probably was to develope the game. Pirates were therefore destroying content and updates for the paying people. Might make you angry right? Well, that attitude has been around ever since.
Probably the only people who know the time I'm talking about are the ones who know why we have a zendar town square without looking it up. I miss that town. And the salt mine, and just borcha and marnid around.

simple me thinking having a copy of the money transfered, the original mail still in my mailbox and other such things would be enough
so I've been posting for about 4 years now, probably 6, without this registration, and noone asked me how I knew so much about the game, or why I was asking gameplay questions

maybe one day I'll add a warband badge, but I've never gotten interested in it

Used to heavy armor and just ploughing through the enemy? Napoleontic times make armor a liability, so it is discarded. Lightly armored, will you be a dragoon, a sharpshooter, grenadier or heavy cavalry? Just know that noone will get out unharmed.)
