Recruit
Right now I can go to a Vaegir merchant who's dying to sell stuff to a swadian and visa versa. Wouldn't it be logical to have Vaegir only pick Vaegir towns as destinations and swadian merchants only swadian cities?

Also, if you picked a country to side with, I think you should only be able to go to the count of an enemy city (to be able to change sides). Or at least don't allow us to recruit enemy soldiers in the tavern. I don't think, realistically, anyone would jump up to join an enemy party. Right now you can recruit 20 enemy soldiers, walk outside, find an enemy war party and tell your new recruits to go attack their countrymen while you stand back and watch.

Once you picked sides (Vaegir for example), you should also gain some more privileges at the Vaegir cities. You should lose all privileges over at the swadian cities (except to change sides). I haven't really thought of the privileges you should gain from joining a side. here is just a brainstorm session:
- let you buy/recruit soldiers from parties of your side
- let you recruit better types of soldiers at the tavern or special types at the count.
- lets you recruit new heroes, who will leave you if you change sides.
- allows you to buy/equip special side-only equipment.
- gives you a special skill, like an ambush skill or quicker travel speed.

Because it seems this war is just for fun. Swadians gladly kill swadians, merchants trade with everyone, no one cares what side you picked in towns, etc. Please separate the two countries more or else it's not really a war right?

In a larger world set, I'd agree with this, but in the demo world size, I disagree...

Reason: There would then be no risk in trading, if I didn't have to go halfway into the enemy's camp to dump goods.

In a larger world, where more space was between Vaegir/Swadian cities, and there were more of them, you'd have a higher chance of hitting bandits and/or enemy raider troops. Right now, It'd just be a money churn.

I think that you should be able to attack the enemy caravans because right now i cant. And the reason i think they let you get enemy soldiers is because they're mercenaries they work for money.
