Sending Textured Models

ok, i am currently making models for the zulu war mod- uggabugga is the team leader.

we are having an issue

i make a model, i texture it, and i post it on filefront for him to download, but when he opens it in wings 3d, it appears as a black model. with no textures.

we need a solution to this problem, so ANY help would be great, if this is the wrong place to post this, please redirect me
 
i compiled the model and the textures into an rar archive, and uploaded it. then the other team member downloaded the rar and unpacked it and all. but it appeared as a black model still
 
The UVmap info should still be in the model so your team members only need to reload the texture i.e. reapplying the texture file onto the model because the file position would definitely have changed.

so he just needs to import the texures i used into wings, and it should work?

edit: agh I misunderstood, thought you were trying to get a texture working in m&b.....the answer is yes, if he has the uv unwrapped model and texture he has everything he needs.

jacob: are you trying to see the textured model in M&B or in your modeling application?

edit: Ok, silly me. He posted in his first post that they tried to open it in Wings3D :razz:
