I noticed that the prices you get from selling your prisoners is now 50 $ ipv 20$..
This is a good thing although I think that it would be better if you got paid by the prisoners rank.

price should be calculated from prisoners age, health and level plus maybe gender
Whatever

Don't know how they calculated those prices in BoW & EGII, but they surely convinced me to buy a blunt weapon and get me some manhunters in my party

Always struck me as odd that we just get 50 for everybody, surely we should get more for a higher ranking troop type as some of them may have been nobles compared to the infantry riff raff.

The moral implications of contributing to the slave trade prevent me from earning the same tarnished money as you do, good day.

Though I might have sent the odd forest bandit or river pirate to work a few times.

Indeed you must get higher pay from the knight than ordinary farmer. This opens up more gameplaying and player could be fulltime slavetrader.

Also for some areas, body weight and what they've been eating would make more sense.

Price should be calculared from prisoners strength level. Ramun says they are going to be galley slaves.

Also, why ransom broker doesn´t buy lords that you have captived? Could be good profit for him too...

While Ramun seems to supply only the galleys at least the ransom brokers should offer money based on the captive like:
  • Bandit: 25 - No one will ransom him and he will be sold to Ramun (for 50).
  • Recruit: 50 - Some will be ransomed by their family, the rest will be sold to Ramun.
  • Higher tier troops: 10 per level - most will be ransomed by their lords or family.
  • Lords: 2000 or better - this should reflect the size of his holding and the ransom broker wants to get some profit too.
  • Kings: 5000 or better - this should reflect the size of his kingdom and the ransom broker wants to get some profit too.[/
I guess some of this will be implemented as the ransom brokers conversation points to it.

By the way, is it only me or are there more ransom brokers in 0.955?

eh dont bother taking prisoners, i cant even be bothered capturing them for quests, you get so little reward for so much effort. 50 per person? Whats the point when you get thousands for selling the loot.

ah i just realized the strenght is good argument for 'work' man slaves
and 'charisma' for woman slaves

ofc similar method for random agent ... higher level and charisma/intelligence = bigger payment

nobles should be double by default in both

It's based off of the prisoner's level. Works nicely, and with the ability to hire Manhunters it offers another game possibility.

Question: what do you do with lords ? sell them ? where ? and what do you with honor points if you don't take lords prisoners ? is it just another non implemented feature ?

You capture Lord and wander at world map. It takes some time when messenger offers you kinda good amount of money for that Lord. You can refuse or accept. I have accepted every first time, so I dont know how the selling prize rises.

Ransom brokers should buy Lords. Not every of them, you have to find one, who deals so big things.
