A hotkey that would allow you to take an instantaneous screenshot that would be later saved in a separate folder would be very apreciated

I also like this idea. I brag about this game constantly, and being able to take a few screenies and show them to people, is a good way to get more folks into this game.

Well right now, you can always just hit print screen and then paste the images into paint/photoshop/whatever.

Though I do agree that an easier method should be implemented.

There is an alternative that i use , although i agree it would be simpler to have a screenshot program in-game.

Download fraps , you can make videos (need fast computer) , but you can also take screenshot's which will save to a folder of your choice.

I tried the demo, and its terrible as a 30sec file is around 250+ mb. And no matter where i am, in the training area where i get a solid 300fps, or in a battle, fraps drops my fps to around 20, no matter what.
Trying to play and record a video at 20fps is nearly impossible. Anything better out there thats free?

Yeah i use fraps too. The latest version includes recordable sound. It's really good.

Fraps is horrid. The file size on video is horribly huge. I used to have the new version, and recorded a 3 minute video with it. Five hundred megs for a 3 minute video is horrible compression. I would rather see a simple screenshot function in this game. As has been stated earlier, I can't think it'd be hard to add in.

hows about compressing/converting the file so it is smaller

Why bother when Gamecam works better? I'm aware of compression, btw. Fraps still sucks, bottom line.

Even still, I think the screenshot feature is a nice one. Saves me all the work of messing with an external program.
