Another quick update on the shader front. This time our dear friend The Guard presenting a new skin shader (with an actual fresnel specular (visible on his nose)) and much less overblown ambient light.

This followed an attempt at creating a "prisoner caravan" system in the game that would have a few quests related to it and alleviate the need to ferry prisoners to a ransom broker (if you own a town) in small batches. What we're seeing here is every town above a given prisoner count deciding to spawn one of these caravans and send it to some destination. Unfortunately I didn't change to the code so that this spawn point occurred at their cities and instead left it with me as ground zero. Instant battle royal.
Screenie time! These are from my bandit character that enjoys tormenting the poor (well, it was once rich but it ain't now) village of Nomar. So, I camped out in the forests and waited for them to come out of their village and jumped them. This is the 11th group of villagers I've pwned so far. Ahh, the pure joy of shooting a poor farmer in the face
