First one is  me fighting against 600 enemies

second one is me with 120 infantry against 300 khergits

I ve always tried to play MB in a total war way

Acutally ,I am playing a chinese mod whose formation fuction is really good

By using the formation fuction  you can literally charge your calvary  into the enemy with crouching the lance instead of getting stuck in the enemy crowd

Take a notice that it's making calvary crouch  the lance in line rather then  getting them stuck in the crowd meleeing with swords

Lots of mods have formations too, so don't go showing off too much. 

But yeah, custom battle mod or just a mod with big parties can make for some pretty epic scenarios.

Naw, most of them don't shoot then. Best to have them in front, then charge the infantry out when the enemy gets close.


Also, I think the infantry is the AI...

When I look at the screenshots I see goofy tactics. Why do you have your archers at the front taking the brunt of a cavalry charge? Why not post them just behind your infantry on an elevated position so they can rain arrows down on the horses that get bogged down?

Actaully, I don't see any cavalry casualties, which, with that many archers, there should be a few.  My guess is that he's using the standard 'hold fire', 'fire at will' and 'infantry advance' tactic.  Except that he's five minutes late on each.
