Screen turns black?

Hey, I just downloaded the mod (the expanded version). I made sure it was 2.4, I downloaded the hotfix, and I made sure to enable load textures on demand.

One problem, when I'm in the middle of creating my first character, the screen turns black, and I can't do anything. Is there a solution to this?

This is a "Support" issue, not a "Bug" issue.
Check your other graphics settings, restart the game in Dx7 mode and see if that works...troubleshoot. Reinstall the mod perhaps. Definitely on your end.

I wasn't coming down on you carter, didn't even quote your post in fact.
Was just trying to clarify and respond to the OP.

And the reason we try to be sticklers about all this is to save us time and help the mod. The more folks can post in and read the correct threads, the less time we spend answering repeat questions or tracking down bug reports to try and fix, etc, and the more we can devote to moving the project forward.
