Scene in progress - Alexandria (done)

Users who are viewing this thread

The current scene for Alexandria will be converted to Memphis, in order to accomodate a rework which will include the Great Lighthouse into the scene, among some other things.

scene layout (many of the points of reference are out of date)

A look at phase 1 - Wall and road placement. Some buildings obviously placed, but this is just for scaling and will be considerably denser and not relevant to the current placement.

TBD is area to be developed.

I see the joke in censoring the phallic pharos, but why the library?

heh, really I didnt want to show the lighthouse just yet. The Library hasnt even been constructed yet

I'll have to admit so far that this is probably the best scene i've done, and would be hard to top.

The makers of Hegemony overdue things, I love it... I've been playing 9.60 Hegemony in the meantime, just anxiously waiting for the 1.011 version! It seems like Hegemony is the only 'true' full conversion module(as in replace most/all of the original items/scenes/npcs/dialogues/etc).

Ah, excellant. I bet it'll be great!

I'm probably going to uninstall most of my games, just so I can have the memory to run this on max!

You don't suppose this mod takes up 166 GB of hard drive space, do you? Because, sadly, thats all I got left.

Holy friggin cow - those screenshots look drop dead gorgeous. The city seems really fleshed out. So much so that I wonder if players might get lost trying to explore it (although the Tab button helps for quick travel). The lighthouse looks rather plain from a distance, although its general shape resembles the illustrations on Wikipedia, and I'm sure it'll look awesome upclose and in the proper lighting. One question; does it actually function as a lighthouse? I mean, does the beacon on top of it actually light up during the night?

Why! Why do you have to do so big and great scenes that all my game time will be wasted just looking around the glorious buildings and land scapes! WHY!?!
