Saving Bug

Thought I'd bring this to attention, but for some reason the game will not save my progress...
I just bought the game, and was wondering if anyone else had this problem... Just lost about 3+ hours!

Edit: Sorry, I forgot to mention that I use realistic saving.

That's strange. Some ideas that come to my mind:
(1) Make sure you have the savegames folder:
C:/Program Files/Mount&Blade/Savegames
(2) Make sure any savegames you have aren't read-only for some reason.

Edit: Checked both... Isn't read-only, and I have the folder mentioned. Any other ideas?

reinstal the game? it probaly will work and use the newest version =)

Can you start a new game and see if it saves your progress?

Well, I started a new game and recreated my character and group by using cheats. I also switched save settings. Everything is going good! Thanks for the advice everyone.
