Need More Info Saves won't load after 1.0.10 patch

I just downloaded patch 1.0.10 and when I try to load my saves and it tells me to proceed with caution and then it tells me there's a mismatch and I tell it to go ahead and load and it puts me back where I started in in the load selection screen

Edit: The game let me go through character creation and background but I didn't try to actually play it and I don't have a multiplayer option either

REedit: verified game files through steam, then opened game and started load, game asked twice if I wanted to use latest patch and said yes both times, closed game without saving, re-entered game and loaded save that was still 1.0.9, saved and exited and the file said it was being used under 1.0.10 and I was able to play

Same here, dont really want to start a new game.. Have a 900+ days save with 1/3 of map conquered

I just put my spouse in as governer of seonon and the baby making stopped, either that or just have them start their own party and yeah it would be nice if they had an option for baby making or a slider for max kids bc I've seen a lot of complains about people with like 25 kids lol

my oldest is at 6 I think and I'm on day 1400 so I've got a little bit until he can be of use...

i reverted back to the previous patch, then loaded my game, exited out of the game, reverted to the current patch and was able to load my game.
