Savegame not compatible?

Hello, I started playing with version 0.704, but when I updated to first 0,710 and after that 0,711, the savefile reads as Not Compatible.
Any suggestions?

Savefiles from 7.04 won't be compatible with 7.10 or later. This is a result of significant changes between the two versions.

You can start a new game and use the cheats to bring your character back to the approximate level of wealth & power. Until the final version is released though it is probably best not to get too attatched to characters.
