Resolved Save Problem

Hello guyz i cant save the game litterually i played 2h last night then i saved the game 2,3 times to be sure to be saved and today when i wake upp save does not show upp i tryed to start one more campaing too see if i can save games but no i tryed now 5 times to saving the game it does not work it feels so horrible to after 8 years waiting and i cant even play the game without save :sad: i checked all files in steam is no problem hope someone has the souliton thanks !
 
Same problem, and unfortunately it has nothing to do with anti-virus. Wasted 4 and half hours of gameplay yesterday..
 
I just ran into this problem yesterday. Turns out I had to turn Windows10 Defender Anti-Ransomware off. Definitely not a fix, but at least I can save games again. I did try leaving anti-ransomware on and allowing the apps for steam and Bannerlord2 to be exceptions, but game still would not save. I’m currently using 1.3.0.Beta, but had the same issue when trying to revert back to earlier betas and the mainstream versions. Also tried reinstalling game on several different drives. And even uninstalled/reinstalled Steam. Other games on Steam platform were able to save prior to turning anti-ransomware off.
 
Its not a firewall issue. There was some unannounced download today with no notes. the 1.3 saves from before it no longer load. Older saves from 1.2 seem to load though after the module prompt. Its just the other 1.3 save games from before the hotfix.
 
Today I was able to turn Windows Security Ransomware Protection back on and was able to save a game without any errors popping up. YAY!

I don’t think Ransomware Protection can be classified as a firewall, but I’m not up on computer security terminology these days.
 
Hello, sorry for the late reply. We have fixed a considerable amount of the problems we have encountered so far and improved the game performance with the multiple patches we have released. Please make sure that your game, your drivers, and OS are up to date and the game has necessary permissions over your security software. Please let us know if the problem persists after completing these steps and verifying the integrity of the game files.
