Save games empty inventory?

This is my first mod and so far I love it.  Took me a bit to realize that to access my Native save games I had to copy them to the Lords and Realms directory, and when I loaded up a save it seemed ok.  Then I realize that every time I entered a new area my inventory would be empty. 

Did I do something wrong or miss a step?  I have the latest M&B as well as Lords and Realms...

You cant load games from native in L&R, they will pretty much break as it did.

The max you can do is export your char on native and import him on a new game of lords and realms, you will have your money, skills, level but not your equipament.

Ah, thanks.  Is there an extra step I need to take to export my character?  I dont mind losing my inventory once, but every time an area loads is a bit much...

Just go to your character page (C) then statistics and export, create any character on lords and realms mod, with the same name, go to the same page and put Import, done.
