Save game question

I was playing back in the 0.6?? version beta.I want to purchase a serial key now and upgrade to the new version but when I tried to update I got errors so I just deleted my old game ( saved the save game folder ) and installed the new version fresh.

I can't seem to make my old save games come back up though.Is their a way I can make my old saves work now ? Thanks in advance

savegames from older versions dont work with the newest versions, sorry

as for the serial, I don't exactly know what you mean but if you buyed it and uninstalled M&B afterwards and installed it again, M&B should still be non-trial

That would be .632 I think, no, the only saved games that can be transfereed are from v.703 to .704. There are changes in the engine that make all the rest incompatiable. I know it's a pain, but for most of the mods you have to create a new game too. YOu can turn on cheats and level you char back up to where he/she was though.

As Thadivine and Princescamps stated: Few of the updates are compatable with earlier versions because major changes are still being made to the core elements of the game.

The in-game cheats are in a sticky at the top of this thread ... or you could just click here instead.
