In Progress Save and auto save files now crash after patch.

I managed to play a couple of hour post patch. I saved the game as well as having three auto saves post patch.
When I open either my own save or any auto save the game crashes.

Hello, sorry for the inconvenience. Are you experiencing the same crash with a new campaign created after the update?

I have not created a new campaign since the patch. It is only the save and auto save files from the campaign created in e1.5.5

Can you please try to create a new campaign and let me know if the same crash occurs there as well? And please send us one of the corrupted save files so we can further inspect the issue. You can upload the file to http://upload.taleworlds.com:8080/ address. Please paste the link to this thread as description so i can identify it.
