Sapper forts?

I really like playing as sapper and making forts on multiplayer servers that have like 30 build points but my forts are always bad. Anyone have any good fort designs that they would be willing to share?

Let's train on MineCraft. 
If you don't have, build a house.
That's by creating first a house you'll find the way to make a fort.

Buildings forts is fun and make great defences.    I personally would like to see the number points increased.  30 is just too little especially with over 100 people in a server(US1) imo.  It's actually quite neat watching sappers going out and making usefull defences every where.(makes being a sapper useful)  You can't really do that with 30 points especially if one person uses them all.

It expands on your likes, and though it'll be hard to implement, maybe someone will find a way to do it.

I swear i've seen you in game somewhere. Anyway sapper forts are good on Large Random Deserts on the top of a hill, make sure it has walls going around 360 degrees so even if cavalry do try and flank you going up a hill the wall will stop them. Anyone desperate for kills and leaves the fort will most likely be slaughtered by cavalry. For what things you should build, well...  You should probably just use sandbags, stakes and those "Cheveaux de frises"
