If you've played any of the STALKER games you know how amazing the atmosphere and the game in general is. For many of us Stalkers, a cheeki breeki dream was Stalker 2, the sequel to these games that was supposed to come out. But development has been canceled because the head dev from GSC Game World, Sergei, only wanted money, and he thought it wouldn't bring him any money, so he stopped developing Stalker 2 and made Survarium, which as we know, is trash. Now, that GSC Game World has reopened, we want to bring to the attention of Sergei that the fans STILL want Stalker 2, and we will not stop until we get it! Please sign this petition, we need you all:

Stalking people is wrong. Many celebrities suffer from it.
If by stalking you mean squatting on your toes instead of heels like true slav, then yes, it is wrong.

Because that's how companies operate . As if they don't know that people want another S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

Squatting on your heels when sitting in some muddy slum like a true gopnik will only get your shoes wet.

Sergei the head dev is a money-hungry bastard, that's why the company closed anyway, because a lot of people left when Sergei told them to stop developing STALKER 2. Now that it's back in action and they've hopefully learned from their mistakes with that horrible "game" (if we can call it that) Survarium, and they'll stick to what their fanbase want, after all we give them the money.

If you get str0nk adidas waterproof leather cleats will only increase your slavness and keep you protected from all kinds or irradiated chernobyl water, trust me.

If you wear quality sweatpants or shoes they will gop stop you for said. It's a rough world, man.

well why don't you find another 20-50 people and make the game for free? No need to worry about silly things like money.

You missed the point. It's just that Sergei thought Survarium will bring him much more money than STALKER 2. And it didn't. It was a huge flop. His best bet of making money now is re-starting STALKER 2 development and the sales will flow on release.

As any true slav does, you carry good AKS-74U straight from Izhmash in case of Gop Stop.

I would, but since you need an account this petition is never going to take off.
Yes, I must say that's quite annoying, but its easy and quick to make one. Its a disadvantage tho, I must agree

The first Stalker game took a long time to develop, and because of its ambitious nature they had to revise a lot of their work before release (original plans were for there to be no loading screens, the Zone was to be seamlessly traversable, something that they later realised was unfeasible). I don't know what the company's balance sheet looked like after each STALKER release, but I don't think they were huge sellers. A developer always has to be concerned with the survival of the company, and starting a major new STALKER game that wasn't based on the original engine etc. like the two existing sequels would take several years. That's a lot of cost and uncertainty; will the project hit unforseen problems a few years into development, will the game still be as popular once it is finished and thus draw in the revenue to cover all those years of production and earn a healthy profit on top? It is understandable that he would choose to go for a quick hit of income for the company (if that's what he did; I can't find mention of what GSC tried to develop instead of STALKER 2), and if it had worked then it would benefit all his colleagues/employees, so selfish might not be a fair description of such a decision.

STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl sold 2 million copies... let alone the other 2. And Im not the only one describing him as a money hungry selfish man. He's the reason employees left GSC after all. That and bankruptcy lol

As if anyone cares.....
Brutus I'm fairly sure a lot of people care, and maybe even some on this forum. You dont have to be rude about it, if you dont care just move along.

Having played 700 hours of CoC I do very much care. Though what I think Lord Brutus ment is GSC caring about a petition.

If Brutus ment that noone cares about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. than he shall get cursed by the gypsies.

So let me get this straight. Some guy was a greedy asswipe and didn't think another STALKER would rake in the cash, so he went off to develop a different IP and it turned out to be ****.

Now you want me to sign a petition to get that same guy to rethink development of another STALKER title.

Why would I do that if he makes **** games?

He doesnt make **** games. He makes his slave employees do it by adding microtransactions and such to an already failed game.
If Sergei let his people develop Stalker 2 instead of him taking all the power and deciding where the company goes (to cash-grab crap that is) it would be amazing and we're trying to bring that to his attention.
The Stalker series were good games because his employees consulted with Sergei on every aspect of the game and they were allowed to make development choices aswell so it came out good, Survarium on the other hand, he took every decision he wanted to make the most money, ignoring his employee's advice, ignoring gameplay, story and everything else in favor for that sweet cash.
What Im saying is that we need some sort of artistic freedom in the company for the game to come out good, without Sergei doing anything he wants.
If he doesnt resume development in order to make other crappy cashgrab games, may the gypsies curse him as Mr. Maoundy said.

Sergei is the one who allows standalone map compilations like CoC to go legally unmolested, so I have mixed feelings about his business decisions.
