Well, my castle has awoken, I just tought I lost it but found it again. :mrgreen:
Edited some things and it's almost ready, the problem is the AI mesh who needs work...

Edit: But got problems, during sieges the AI meshes and stuff are working perfectly but the guards from 40-46 entry points go all to entry point 10, can you give me a hint  how to make them stay on their entry points ? :sad:
 
Nice, the castle is looking majestic.

The AI is scripted to stand by entry point 10, so entry point 10 is placed where the ladders or siege tower reaches the walls.
This means the defenders can only guard one place.
(Archers will often stand ground though, but all infantry will rush towards entry point 10 and so will reinforcements).

I don't know if anyone has changed this, or if it's even possible.
 
They all go to entry point 10 no matter archers or meele units (Khergits, replaces Unuzdaq Castle). Don't know how to solve it, but if you are kind to throw an eye on this ?

All troops rush to entry point 10 - even archers in the towers. That is very odd, and I don't think that has ever happened to me.
But apart from that the siege works well.
I noticed it doesn't happen when I defend the castle. My archers stayed in position in the towers.
 
Not sure anything can be done...

Hey, congratulations on your work :smile: really nice surprise. I wanted to try remaking it myself after finding this image http://madalinfocsa.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/dsc_3495.jpg  but I don't know if I'll be able. Maybe you or Adorno can pull this off if he's interested in this version. Congrats again.
 
(Thread necromancy) These castles look amazing! This is what the Floris Mod Pack needs, although I haven't looked at every mod that it has and I haven't gotten very deep into it, so it might have this mod.

Floris has already this pack implemented.

i was reading through all this and i have to agree with Extradaemon, Dover castle originally existed before the Normans arrived in England and was destroyed by them and a weaker fort created in its place, which no longer exists. However in 1180-1190 Henry II rebuilt it, at enormous expense, and it was one of the first stone castles built in Europe and it was known to be impenetrable. It was besiege 3 times and every time it pushed back the attackers, this magnificent castle was even used as a command center during WW2 and managed to survive that extremely well off. It is an amazing example of architecture of the day and i believe it to be a shame that it is not included in this mod.
Though i must admit, the current castles are beautiful and i tip my hat to you good sir.
