Just one suggestion: Could you make castles for around 1200? Europe 1200 and 1257 BC need them...
I don't really do requests, but 1257 would be late Norman castles.
So if you have some good sources/models/pictures of castles from that time it would be nice.

York and Carlisle castle would suit the 1257 mod I think.

... I fear for how well the AI play on them.
I've tested them quite extensively and the AI works just as fine - and bad - as native

Castle of Gormaz (in Spain)

I couldn't find any maps or better aereal shots.

These castles you made are so ****in awsome!!!

I want to remake the castles of M&B (not Warband) just for my mod "Shieldwall" too. Just for making them more realistic. What I'll make are castles arround 1050... Most of them will be Mottes I think.

You're the best scenebuilder I've ever seen: go on with this!

lol, i love that casttle. It is a Califal Casttle X century. In Gormaz was Almanzor, El Cid, and others. I have visited it twice, and Gormaz never tired.
Measures: 1200 x 446 m, Gormaz can accommodate an entire army. Most here: http://www.castillosdesoria.com/gormaz.htm

Revan, are u spanish?

Really great!

I was only wondering if Carlisle castle had those little trees back in the early-middle middleages?
They don't seem to be very practically but rather like decoration. Still an awesome castle!

And I'm sure you know the Eilean Donan Castle
as well as the Urquhart Castle

here's are some pictures (sadly destroyed) http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Urquhart_Castle?uselang=de
...and btw I know the one, who built the trebuchet at Urquhart castle

This looks absolutely amazing! I love the vast spans of flat ground before the castles. It makes it seem much more daunting as an attacker, and gives defenders a better chance to cut down the enemy with ranged weapons. Great work!

Nice project.  It would be better if there were new props.

Gormaz is really great. I would like to find pictures of it when it wasn't ruins, in order to make the castle in Wings 3D, and then put it in the game. I already made the castle of Baños de la Encina.

Wow, excellent job on these castles...those must have taken a while to do, by the time your done your going to be so burnt on scene editing   They got ai meshes to go with them?

Very nice, but please make the first scene with wooden keep, not stone.
Exactly. I've used stone buildings in a time when only wood was used, but I thought it looked so bland/dull with all that wood
But I might just change it later to increase realism.

Amazing. I've had my eye on a few other British castles of that magnitude.

I've actually been looking at that - it's a beauty.

I should mention it's several weeks of work - and they all have AI meshes of course.

amassing andorno those are wonderful peices of work. How are you going to test those out ? just with instant battles or are u incoperating them into a mod? if its just instant battles i would gladly volunteer to test and find mistakes  ive beta tested alot of maps for COD2 and such so im perty good at finding graphical glitchs and bugs.

That is very nice!  Let me get my little, grubby hands on them!

Here is some castle plans

So how can we get to play with these castles? Will u release a mod or also python files for ppl to add to their mods?

Really nice looking castles btw. Awesome sauce here.

Being the imbecile at modding that I am they're just modified native castles - so copy-paste and play
If 'real' modders want they can do whatever they like with them - make them multiplayer, change spawn points etc.

Then do it - it's released:
http://www.mbrepository.com/file.php?id=1929

The included 'readme' has details on which native castles have been replaced by these,
and on installation - but it's basically drag-and-drop. Remember to backup the sceneobj files.
