[S] Calradia 1578

I think its not a good idea to try make this mod in Renaissance age, there is already many mods set there.
This mod should be set in mid 18th to mid 19th century. Mod doesnt have much, except factions trop tree
and new items, but that is good for start.
I would suggest u two options, long and short.

1.U can make a new map, but then i'll suggest that u do a new scenes for castles, towns and sieges.(long way, but that will
gratly improve the mod) or u can leave the map the way it is, yet we will be able to add uterhd castles and historic castles projcet.

2.Add factions, thats quite simple, add for example France, England, Russia, Ottomans, Austrian Monarchy,

3.Completly change troop trees of factions armies, bandits, peassants, wommens etc(do a little research, and see
what wepoans and cloths were used in that age, and by who were they used, so there wont be any swordsman left
in mailed armour like there are in this version)

4.Take some mods from this forum, like more metal soun, polished landscapes, arena overhaul etc

5.Do something more about diplomacy and other misc. stuff

I really hope this mod develops fruther, couse thats only mod with potential to be set in that time period
i hope for.

I'm not sure, but here's some advice

1.check that you have copied all files into module folder
2.check your version of the game.
I don't know on which versions should it work, but I'm running it fine on 1.127

It's his mod; there's a reason he called it Calradia 1578. Besides, I don't really know of more 16th century mods than 18th/19th century mods.

U are absolutely right, its his mod, and there certanly is a reason why did he named it calradia 1578, but  I only stated my
opinion its up to him to take it partly, fully or ignore it.

And btw can u pleas tell me some warband mods that take place in 19th century. I can only find Age of false inoccence but thats
multiplayer only.

I think i've found a bug, I walked through Khergit territory when suddenly a lord from khergit constantly follows me, it's kinda weird and annoying xD He only gets distracted by it's enemies and then it's follows me again.

Have the Kergits and Sarranids been removed from this mod? If so, that seems like a shame, especially as historically the Mongols and Arabic peoples were actually instrimental in the pioneering of blackpowder weapons

@ Cameron- They are not removed, they are simply ignored.

I like the mod, however I ended up changing a bunch things to make it purely gunpowder and now I am re downloading to play the original again. Thanks for the good times. Great mod

you do realize that the exitance of gunpoweder will quickly alter the social structure of the caladrian society where the role of the sword nobility will be minimal as any peasant would be able to use a gun.

Really? Gunpoweder single-handedly ended feudalism? Calradia is not 'Europe', it is a fictional setting for a computer game that draws its inspirations and some source materials from RL histories and cultures, get a grip.

There is a difference between constructive criticisms and being an a**hole, as demonstrated by some of the replies to this thread.

Lol retarded american polluted mind kids. I wont even discuss this with an intelectually inferior kid who knows nothig of history but still vomits right wing american propaganda.

Actually american children are taught in a union controlled socialist teaching style geared more toward teach young women than males (with no competition or choices between schools). That is why the school system rank the lowest in the world and with the most money spent per student. Unlike like the College level education which ranks number one in the world and is a free market system with all the world student trying to get in.

And what really matters this game rocks and in the early years of gun powder most people couldn't afford it and until mass casting manufacturing. No tool, weapon or armor, was affordable... they where pass down.

And what does left or right have to do with this game. If you are going to spout, speak facts not politics.

Nothing, just his stupid comment has to do with politics. As I said I wouldnt even discuss with him facts, since he most probably ignore them.
