*face palms* German Empire Does not Equal Prussia ... considering prussia existed up until 1871 where it folded into the German empire.

Prussia fought Russia in the Seven years war.  They may have been at war with them briefly when they were subjugated by the French, but I'm not sure if they ever actually fought during the Napoleonic wars.

EDIT:
Technically the Kingdom of Prussia existed as the leading state of the German Empire until 1918, so it is not entirely incorrect to say that they fought Russia in the First World War.

There are also a few other conflicts such as the Seven Years' War (mentioned) and the War of the Austrian Succession.

You can even go so far as to say that Prussia was still very much in existance in WWII.  The "ruling elite" if you would were still of Prussian decent and at the end of the war the Allies made a note to include a clause in the peace agreement that dissolved the state of prussia.

You're right. Though it didn't really exist after 1930-something except on paper, and the kingdom only existed to 1918 when it was replaced by a free state. If we're counting that one, we could also count Brandenburg-Prussia and another war or two versus Russia.

quite interesting i thaught prusssia was dissolved in the mid 1800s

Heh, yeah, Prussia unified Germany to create the German Empire in 1871, but the state didn't cease to exist, it just became a (the leading) part of the empire.
