Ruling all of Calradia

So, recently in Warband Singleplayer I have started a quest to help the Vaegers to rule all of Calradia. So far it has been smooth. First we basically wiped out all of the Nords, we own all of their land  and now their faction has been "eliminated" in the menu. Then the Khergit wanted to wage war and so we have basically almost wiped them out (Only 2 castles, 1 city, Tulga left). Then the Sarranid have waged war on us and they are like butter to us, slice and dice easily. My hopes are that when I have wiped out both of the Sarranid and the Khergit that we will eventually be at war with the Swadians and eventually be rid of the "true" heirs to Calradia and Rhodoks last because they will be cornered to the sea at their backs, then we will have "true" peace and Jeremus/Firentus will be happy! Watcha guys think? Post some suggestions if you want!

Khergit Khanate: Eliminated
Kingdom of the Nords: Eliminated
Sarranid Sultanite: Soon . . .
Kingdom of Swadia: Not at war . . . Yet . . .
Kingdom of Rhodoks: Not at war . . . Yet . . .

[EDIT]:

So about a couple hours ago I just eliminated the Khergit, now I move on to the Sarranid! Wish me luck!

Well...have fun laying siege to those rhodok towns lategame.  Those castles/towns +sharpshooters = not fun.  Swadia is usually in trouble late game due to being surrounded by so many enemies, but since you are eliminating all their enemies they may put up a bit of a fight.

Yeah, I'd try and take the Rhodoks on as soon as possible, then mop up the Swadians.  You did a good thing by taking out the Nords early, because they're also strong late-game, but those Rhodoks holed up in their nigh-impregnable castles...oof!

Good luck!

I usually save the Rhodoks for last, I do however severely weaken them usually leaving them with only 1 or 2 castles/towns at which point my marshal lead armies make short work of their garrisons (though it is still costly).

I save them for last because they are the easiest for me to defeat in the field with the exception of the Khergits but there is always that one Khergit lord running around with 20ish troops flying all over the place and I hate dropping down to a small enough party to catch them because late game bandit parties get freakin huge.

Vaegirs are actually the best choice to leave for last in my opinon, easy to beat in the field and not the greatest siege fighters (though marksmen do have a tendency to cause problems...) but I usually like having their territory early game so they are always gone.

I did this on native as the nord marshall and we took out the other factions in this order swadia, vaegers, rhodoks, sultanite, and the khergit where last. it came down to the nords and the khergit owning about a third of the map because we where at peace with them for a long time. made for a very fun endgame

good luck

Ok so yeah, thanks for all the suggestions and support. So far the Sarranid have been fun to go at war with. They are quite literally the butter to our blades. I really would like to go to war with Rhodoks at a later period, I like them a lot and respect them and I think they will be a formidable foe. I use basically only Mercenary troops and only the best of the best troops. Like Vaegir Knights and all that. It's good to have most the of  factions taken care of because we have their villages and towns so I can basically take their best troops and use them. So really I am having a syndicate of troops to take over the provinces. My only concern at the moment would have to be the Swadian Knights and the Rhodoks Sharp Shooters. I have heard a multitude of stories of how the Rhodoks are insanely hard to take out with their Sharp Shooters. Swadians shouldn't be too much of a problem due to their current state of affairs in their Government atm in my current game. Apparently almost all the lords (who are still in the realm) who have fled from their dying factions went to the Swadians. So this makes King Harlus a bit of cluster F*** with all the lords. So he has been indicting almost all of the lords with Treason and many of them have joined the Sarranid and the Rhodoks. Some have joined the Vaeigers but not too many to make a difference. Any suggestion for troops and gear on my upcoming campaign hopefully with either the Swadians or the Rhodoks? Well, good day and good mental health! FIGHT ON MY BROTHER IN ARMS!

Bullstomps on the road I say . The rhodokians are boring to fight with . The only problem is with the sharpshooters ,but they didn't kill any of my soldiers while riding towards them . Just done some damage to the horses and to the shields . Gather your knights and charge the dudes .

Swadia is going to beat you XD! Good bro! If I were you before atacking swadia I´ll get a lot of sires for your empire!

Sorry, just fired up Mount and Blade: Warband and wiped out the Sarranid Sultanite Government/Faction. We now have the Swadians and Rhodoks encased and pushed to the waters. Though at the moment we are at complete peace with all the factions, I am home with my wife in Tihr where she will be safe. I currently own 1 city in each of the old tribes territory. Just have to get rid of the Swadians and I hope we can live at peace with the Rhodoks because I like them and respect them. Wish me luck! Fight on my brothers in arms!

I went along the same path apart from having Swadia jumping in at the same time and then having the Saradins and the Rhodok's attacking us right after that war and ended. Was as if they were taking shifts to keep us at bay.

Ended up making my own faction and started rampaging all across Caladria   (which failed horribly  )

i suggest you should also train many of your cavalry, believe me,facing those swadian knights on the battlefield really is a pain in the ass! but swadian town arent that difficult, although their crossbowmen might be pretty horoffying

note:vaegir knights arent as tough as swadians, but they can give a hard recistance if maintained by excellent strategy

It's a shame that there's nothing to do after uniting Calradia.  I would like to be able to take Lezalit's advice and conquer the world afterwards.

Well once you conquer all of Calradia you win thats the point of the game. Anything after that would take way to much time and money to add. Imagine if you spend a ton of game time unfiying Calradia, which most people dont do, and then after all that there was another whole game area to conquer. To do that they would have to take away the focus from Calradia and make that portion of the game smaller.

Make an women only army and continue to rule all of Calradia.  One man to rule them all, the alpha male.

While I agree with you it would be nice to have something other than the silly screen saying [your faction here] has conquered all of Calradia. Not anything big mind you but a nice little movie of you marching through the streets of your capital or something like that would be nice... They did it for weddings so why not the end of the game?

Thought about it a little more... Thought maybe a coronation or something like that.

There is a reason I abandon all of my games late game. It isn't the tedium of mopping up the last few remaining lords or the endless siege battles that the endgame becomes (though they do get on my nerves) it is just knowing that all I will get when I accomplish the goal is a little screen saying I unified Calradia. I don't even get a bonus for doing that when I retire!

Yeah it should increase your retirment score, not that thats a big thing here on the forums. But yeah I like rounding up the end game. Just to say I beat the mod. Ive only ever beat native once though as a nord

I'm actually having a slightly enjoyable and even challenging late game. With Calradia united, I've decided to dedicate all of my resources to combating the banditry thats running rampant. Using the Diplomacy mod, I'm having to balance my nation's economy with the cost of the military patrols needed to suppress the bandits, while also trying to get every one of my vassals at 99 relationship (most of them hate me after I handed out all the fiefs).

Its actually quite tough and enjoyable, although maybe I'm just easily entertained.
