As you should be aware if you are part of the King's army I am your Lord Wellington
I will be commanding you in the Battle of Waterloo, and so I made this thread to try and help organise things a bit better. In it I will post info for trainings, and anything else that may prove important. Ideally I would like to try and have at least one or two trainings with everybody in attendance. In these trainings we will probably practice manouvres, some tactics I have thought up and linebattles. Along with anything else I think of between now and then.
However I also encourage you all to practice individually. Unit cohesion will be important, this should not be a problem for the clan regiments but is something the public regiments really need to work on. Play together on the musket mod server, or if you want something more structured PM me and I will see if I can give you a training server slot. If anyone wants anything to help then I will do what I can (within reason!).
As for the organised trainings I suggest we have one the week before the event at the same time so we can have a sort of rehearsal for attendance and I can drill you through your manouvres.
Then if you are all up for another one then maybe have that one a fortnight before that at the same time. That would be the 5th and the 19th of September at 7pm BST. I ask that the captains of each regiment consult their men and see if they can make those times.
Now remember this is going to be a Warband event the likes of which has never been seen. I have commanded battles in Warband with 30 men on my team and that was hectic. This is going to be something else. However with proper organisation, planning and most importantly practice I am confident that we will function like a well oiled machine. We are lucky to be able to be in this over subscribed event so let us make the most of it.
A note to regiment commanders: Pay attention to the activity of your men. If you run trainings and they do not show then replace them. If I run trainings and you show but they do not, replace them. Also if you agree to come to a training and don't then just as you have authority over your men... We do not want to get to the main event and find that half of our people have deserted!
For honour, glory and King George!

edit:
The training on the 19th will last 1-2 hours. We will also run a training on the Saturday before the event at the same time as the event itself, this will not be compulsory. On top of this I will be available before the event happens for an hour or so in advance if people want to go over things.
