Worked on it today bit. Roofs have still to see some love.

Tomorrow I'll probably make Doric columns instead of current Ionic.

Here are some Gaulish buildings I'd love to see (if possible, of course).

Some building reconstructions

The gates of an oppidum with some longhouses in the background (each longhouse appears to have a storehouse).

A typical Gaulish city centre (could be used as the ''castle'' for a Gaulish city in game).

actually circular huts were very common everywhere, because the costruction is very primitive and made with poor materials.
however in my preview post I referred to the Liguri, a celtic population of italy. they used not only wooden poles, pretty rare in this region, but also boughs and dry walls. they were extremely poor because the Liguria region is really steep into the Tirrenian sea and they used the terracing system since the origin of days.

They became much less common in Gaul by ca. 400 BC. They'd probably only be seen in small villages and towns. Cities had mostly longhouses with a lot having plank roofs, in other words, he could make it as a village prop!
