Rolling hills

Probably been suggested a million trillion times since last week. But, don´t the battlegrounds sometimes seem TOO bumpy? I think the random map style is great and they look awesome, it would just be great if they could crank down the "HILLS" lever a quite a bit. I mean where in the world does the ground look like that? Scottish highlands? Not hardly.

Aye, with terrain like we see in the battles, it's unlikely heavy cavalry would have been developed. A nice open plain, or at least fewer cliffs, are usually something cavalrymen are fond of.

If it could be done so the battle map generated depends on where the battle is taking place - near a source of water, more streams/rivers; near mountains, more cliffs; near a forest more trees; in open grassland, more open grassland; that'd be great.

id like to see different terrain at different places on the map.. near the ocean more sandy some sand dunes... by the montains very rocky and cliffs... way up north maybe even some snow? wooded areas? and so forth...

If I recall correctly, the next version will make it so that the location on the world map affects the battlemap.

I like the idea that map location affects battle map location alot. I'd hate to lose all hills, but I do agree there must be a plain or two somewhere. Along with a single, deep running valley or two.

Agreed, it would be awesome if the battlefields changed depending on its placement in the world. Still some maps are just to damn "hilly". Like fighting on a skateboardramp.

Seriously?! Wow, thats amazing. Fighting forest bandits on their home turf would be cool. They could get a attack bonus.
