Can't find "Right to rule" in any tab... Can someone tell me how can I check my right to rule please?
Im currently using the latest 1257AD version and all I have is honour rating, friends, enemies and renown in my char statistics tab.
I also would like to know how do you mark 2 and more troop categories when using "backspace" when battle starts? I tried holding different keys and pressing different mouse buttons...

Oh and few more questions... How do I send a patrol to recruit troops for my castle? Or it just works with cities, because I managed to conquer only castle so far. And is it possible to make them auto-upgrade when stationed in castle or city??

P.S. I also noticed many conversations doesn't have dialogue text.

-right to rule:
You have already found the right screen. RTR is displayed below renown & honour, before friends/enemies.
If there is nothing shown like "right to rule: 10", then you have 0 rtr - which is not displayed as default.

-selecting troop types:
Hit backspace. Notice the Boxes to the far left, next to the troop type names. Check or uncheck the boxes with you mouse. Voila!

-recruiter:
not implemented afaik

-dialogue:
not completed yet

Have fun!

Oh, ok... strange, because I was in few campaigns with other lords, that should have gave me few RTR points. And yes, there is nothing more besides renown, honour, friends, enemies and currently reading book... And does that mean when I start a new game RTR should not be displayed yet?

Concerning troops. Thats what I was talking about. Those square boxes. I mark one, but others unmark. I can only control all troops at the time only when battle starts and all troops are checked, but later I can only mark only one troop tree at the time when I try to do something with them...

Darn... that means getting troops to guard my cities and castles will be pain in the ass? Because I will also need to train them all myself?

try holding shift while selecting troops. at least this is how it works with keyboard shortcuts

Yeah, I finally figured it out. Need to press exactly the squares near the troops to mark what you want. The only thing concerning me atm is Right to rule. I just finished second campaign with faction and still no RTR stat or any information about it... Tried to launch native mod, start new game - nothing helps. Can anyone playing this game tell me where is RTR displayed? Screenshot please?

Or you can send out your companions to spread the merry message that there is a new boy in town who aspires to be the king of all of Europe. Just talk to one of your companions and it should be the option "I wish to ask you something" and then "Do you know that I aspire to become king" or something like that. Your companion will leave you and on his return you'll receive 3 point of right to rule. You can send out 4 or 5 companions at once, I think it was, then you have to wait for their return before you can dispatch another bunch of them.
