Ok so at some point (not untill the module file for 9.5 is released) I shall be making a mod heavily based on David Gemmels Rigante novels. I would like to make a Ravenheart/Storm rider mod rather than a Sword in the storm/Midnight falcon time period mod but I don't realy mind.
For those of you cave dwelling hermits who don't have any clue as to what I'm talking about the rigante novels are based on a "scottish" clan (in another world of course) who suprise suprise are called the rigante.
Sword in the storm is set in the early iron age of this world whereas Ravenheart is set in the early industrial age of this world. In sword in the storm the last of the keltoi kingdoms across the water have fallen to the men of stone (romans) and now the empire is looking towards the great island (which is this worlds britain) to rape and pillage (sounds like fun.) The keltoi, including the rigante have no hope of beating them as they are vastly outclassed by the men of stone, the keltoi stil charging like, well crazy keltoi people realy instead of fighting in a diciplined shield line like the men of stone. Only one of the keltoi can see this, the great warrior king connavar (of the rigante) who is determined to ready his people for the great war.
Rvenheart is set in a time where the last of the keltoi, the northern clansmen have been conquered by the varlish (english) dogs. But most still fret under their yoke and the black rigante clan are a law unto themselves, it would take the power of the varlish king himself to defeat them in a battle as the cruel, black haerted moidart (the varlish lord of the north) doesn't have the money to pay for a long drawn out war. However slightly more important things are afoot, things which could destroy the world if the rigante heros cannot defeat an old keltoi god.
Ok now you''re listened to the rambeling you can tell me wether this idea was rubbish or not.
