also, just to pick up on a little detail (i know people love doing that around here). the fact that it's only recently that people have been utilising 'stun mechanics' such as holding/jumping (which should not even be included in the same sentence) means that you've really made a fool out of yourself in more ways than one. but i would appreciate a custom sig. drop it in a pm

When did this whole thing turn in to a US vs AU e-peen waving contest? In my opinion it does not matter what anyone from another country says about this because apart from someone paying a ridiculous fee to fly across the world and compare penis lengths no proof besides "My boyz know wussup" will ever come of it.
Even the Nations cup was a skewed tourny because whoever played on their server first was likely the one to win in the match.

Ah, you misunderstand me. The Stun mechanic have been well known for a while now, and stun has been utilized extensively and well in situations where it can be taken advantage of.
The mechanic that I speak of is not that holds/jumps cause stuns, but that weapons of equal weight can stun each other in certain situations,and reliably so in duels. Perhaps this was known of before, but it was not being used extensively until recently.
Fastest vs Medium speed can be argued to death, and your casual arrogance indicates to me that its you who needs to do some research.

Dang, you guys are beating up on Leonidas. He tried his hardest on Rhade.. Give him a break. It is not like Leo didn't abide to the rules of the game and cheated. Leonidas may use very effective cheap tactics when dueling, but at least give him credit for making it to the championship.
Nobody is insulting Leonidas' skill, Sly. He put up a good fight, we all recognize that, and nobody thinks he's a bad duelist. He's one of the best. The problem here is that he's trying to self-validate after losing and grasping at straws to salvage respect that was already there and is now dissipating.
Alright.. Sorry. It just seemed like that to me. And I saw Leonidas go "overboard" at one of his posts.

BkS has a good and bad rep. For one, they're respected as the top-notch competitive team in North America, and some of their members are counted among the greatest duelists. Unfortunately, some of their members have aggressive personalities and come across as trollish. They aren't seriously accused of hacking or cheating (except by ragers in pubs), they aren't "destroying the community" any more than the persistent trolls are, but they are the fattest fatties ever to flop fat rolls in Warband.
