Whether or not he was a little foggy with handling it, it shouldn't matter. Fook says that the center ring concept was pitched before the duel, and for Leo to complain about John not doing a good job just shows a lack of respect. John ran the tournament, and for all we know every member of his immediate family died while he was trying to keep it together, and it all worked out in the end. It's common knowledge that the duel was to be set in the Arena map, and well, the center ring is certainly a part of that map. Leo can't say it was unfair to play there because he isn't any good at it. It's part of the map, not being able to switch his playstyle to suit any aspect of the map is another reason why Rhade deserved to win.
To be fair I thought that this would be taken into consideration
This is what I said from Koa Duel
Agreed! I believe a great deal of blame can be put on a lack of practice. If you /know/ there is an eventuality where you believe you will be unfamiliar with a certain territory and you're already strong at one of the choices, why not practice more? It was still well in advance, there were at least days of practice. I saw Rhade practicing both in and out of the ring. Why can't Leonidas do the same? I don't understand any unfairness involved -except- self-imposed kinds.
