RGL error

I have regularly an RGL error which crashes the game. It is always when I upgrade troops. Then I have a windows message saying that the nvkkdm (or something like this) was recovered.

I use vista on a dell latitude d820

Any suggestion ?

It's probably so that something went wrong during the installation progress...
Maybe reinstall the game. If it keeps crashing, download M&B again. (it could be that
the installer missed files during the download )

Something is causing an error with the graphics driver. Check you've got the latest driver installed for the graphics card. Of course knowing the graphics card might help.

I updated graphic drivers, but I still have the problem. I shoudl mention that the problem does not happen systematically. It happens randomly but always when I upgrade troops.

My video card is NVIDIA Quadro NVS 110M

Hi,
I got an RGL Error too, then M & B closed (and i hadn't saved, darn!  )

Configuration:
AMD Athlon 64 3400+; 2Gb RAM; Nvidia GeForce 6200; Win XP Home
M & B 1.011

I entered Reyvadin and went to castle. Talked to King Yaroglek and asked for a task. He gave me the follow the spy quest. As soon as i accepted i got the RGL Error:
"rgl error
unable to reposition party unremarkable travellers " (coordinates)

Is this really a graphic issue? Because it happened in the moment when you get out of the dialog and into the throne room. The unremarkable travellers or the mission anyway had no reason at all to draw something. Maybe buffering?

I must also say that with same setup and same game I have already done this same missions (from other towns).

I will try to replicate it and report.

I only get and RGL error when doing castle defences or large battles with an unlimited number of bodies.  If I switch the bodies to 40 then I never have the problem.

You may encounter an RGL error whilst playing or starting a game. Go to the game's site and search the support forum or open a new ticket at their support desk or so

I found the problem. In fact since I have a Dell labtop, I could not update with the *latest* nvidia drivers. But I found a web site which provides solutions for installing latest drivers on labtops.
