My apologies, I was able to solve the issue after all.  I was overlooking something obvious.  Please disregard this post and feel free to remove it.

indeed, share the wealth (of knowledge) i've been RDL'd a few times...

Lower textures...and everything else on Max game got problem with supporting lots of ram...

Well, it doesn't change a thing for me

Plus it is nonsense to play with all video settings on low, i don't want to play an Amiga game, i want to play AT LEAST a decent graphic game!

It keeps saying something about vertex buffer when leading a siege.

NEED to fix this game crash, because this is one of the finest mods i've ever seen.

Oh: it can't be a memory issue, other mods use plenty of things more than this mod, and with all details to top they never crashed.
And i played almost every possible mod hosted on this forum...

Help!

Amiga games were far more superior in gfx and music than PCs...so if you have no idea what your talking about pls stop...

And rgl error stoped popping up after i lowered textures and i got 64 bit system and 4gb ram...so yes its wired but lowering textures actually helped...so maybe theres one or more buggy textures causing crash...

Oh, you are the smart guy ain't you?
That was a joke, if you didn't understand the meaning of it it's your problem. Plus: i know graphics were better, i had it. I meant that i don't want THAT graphic NOW. Be smarter

Btw thx for the answer.

Bad joke most kids this days have no idea what Amiga is...

Lower only textures by 33% or 50% like i said it stoped rgl error in my case...so i quess Chel used some new textures and one of them is making game crash...hm maybe its becouse i got Ati?

Nvidia here

About the joke: don't mind man, i'm a bit nervous this days and i tend to be an idiot while nervous, sry

Yes, it solved, but as i said: i'm not that happy of playin' with almost everything to minimum level

One thing i noticed that seems to work: turn off combat report!

I said only lower textures worked for me other options can be at max

Please try to do something about this error in next releases, it's a real ***** and makes this incredible mod pretty unplayable when it comes to bigger battles. And lowering all settings (especially textures, corpses and ragdolls) makes M&B ugly like hell.
I have just been RGL'ed again...

I just got this error half way through finishing off a migrating bear clan  But, i put my number of corpses to 10 and ragdolls to 3 and tried agian and it didn't happen, and hasn't happend since. so hopefully that might be the way too solve it

Any news around this RGL thing?
I´ve that very often, no matter if graphic details are high or low. It´s every time during sieges or battles when new enemys arrive. Battle size doesn´t matter (it´s from 50 to 500 all the same error). Compatibility mode in Win7 doesn´t affect this either.

System specs:
AMD Athlon X2 7750+ black edition
4 GB RAM
Nvidia 9800GT 1024MB - latest drivers
Win7 RC ultimate 64bit

just turn down the corpses....even if it does ruin the game D:

Doesnt always fix it, still crashes on some siege maps and even a few outdoor ones with corpses down to 10.

This is while using Battlesizer, but it's only set to 150, on Native I play at 200 with higher settings and the only time it ever crashed due to the RGL error was on a siege defence battle after 30 minutes fighting (the corpse pile was stupidly big).
Running with E8400 Stock/3.3gb ram/GTX260 on XP.

Edit: Well it's definitely not a memory issue, just crashed out during a city siege with 1gb left free.
