Reversing Mouse Buttons For Us Lefties

Is there a way for M&B to recognise that I'm left-handed and have my mouse buttons reversed? It's pretty difficult to make the mental transition to hitting the opposite button to interact with merchants and such, and even when I'm successful I have problems in everything else on my machine for a while after I leave the game :).

I do know I can reverse the mouse buttons for combat, and have done so.

I was wondering this myself. I am left-handed but generally mouse right-handed.

However, I recently broke the Scaphoid bone in my right hand and was deserate to play M&B but couldn't switch the buttons.

I have had surgery now so I can use my right again but it would be nice to be able to configure it however you wanted.

I wondered the same thing, but I'm a rightie. It seemed odd to me at first that my sword (right hand) was controlled by the left mouse button, while my sheild (left hand) was controlled by my right mouse button. Took me a while to get the coordination.

Yep, other games I am aware of includes Farcry, Noctune, Blood Ryne, Max Payne 1 & 2, GTR, and the list goes on. :D

I have asked about this in the 0.632 thread. Check it out. I am told it may be fixed if time allows...

I some how get adjusted to this, so nbd. For me, the storyline precedes this one.

CMutton.

I'm left handed too, but that has never made it awkward for me when using the mouse.

I feel being left handed is actually an advantage when playing games like this (and FPS's) - It means you can have the mouse in your left hand, and use the arrow keys for movement with your right hand. Keeps your hands spaced out, and in a comfortable position, and not all cramped up at one end of the keyboard, or using w,a,s,d for movement :P
