I would like to see more options for the reunification of the empire factions. Now you have to conquer most of the fiefs. For an empire that split only recently, there should be other quests or marraige options available to unify.
I also find it strange that a weakend faction would rather loose fief after fief to an outside culture intstead of confederating with a factions from the same culture.
