Return of the Manhunters

Is it just me, or did they add spawn points for Manhunters in 1.127, allowing them to spawn later in the game? I've come across several new parties now at around day 400, whereas in previous versions they'd be long extinct (or prisoner) by this time.

It would make sense if they did, since it's obvious that they've turned some attention to them in recent versions - updating their stats, gear and dialogue. I'd be surprised if they went to the trouble of polishing them without also fixing their broken spawns.
 
i've seen loads of them, i took a quest to kill a large group of bandits, but the manhunters got to them first and i failed the quest, bastards... :mrgreen:

They now can upgrade into decent troops that are very good at taking prisoners.
They're not a match for heavy bladed cavalry, but they do very well in the role of light and medium cavalry.
 
Well I've been in the habit of rescuing every imprisoned manhunter I see (since I knew they disappear eventually), but now I've got an an army of 60 Slaver Chiefs and I think it's getting to be a bit much...
 
Personally, I love the slaver chiefs. They all wear brigandines, carry blunt weapons and steel shields, and no matter what faction you join you dont get negative morale for them. Only mamelukes and Swadian knights give them problems.
 
Its nice to see them back, I'm at day 530'ish in my current campaign and I thought I would never see them again  :cry:
