Hey guys, I am trying to give a greenish skin tint to the unarmoured body skin, but it is not working. How do I go about doing it?

It should work fine, if you're editing man_body8.dds.

I already zombified the man_body8.dds  texture, and it is not showing up in game as zombified.

Did you put the modified man_body8.dds in the textures folder?

Did you rename it? If you renamed it, it will not be used as the default skin - you have to use the same file name, man_body8.dds.

If you want the green-skinned body to be used only by some factions, there's the workaround of bringing it in as armor.  However, you can't wear any other armor on top of it.

If you wanna get in-depth what you'd do is make a new module_skins entry and change the model it uses for the body, legs, head etc.

Otherwise if you just wanna overwrite the native human, make sure you actually replaced man_body8. (backup though!)

Are you working with a module? If so the texture file in the texture folder must have exactly the same name (man_body:cool: and scanning module textures must be enabled in module.ini.

Good luck!

I found the problem...it was a TYPO! I spelled it "man_body8..dds"! Thanks all for the help, and sorry for being a noob.
