Rest in peace, George

It didn't contribute anything, it didn't even express a coherent viewpoint, so what was the point? Sarcasm usually has one, which is why I didn't treat it like sarcasm.

This is the source of my sexual stimulation. I've no time for porn, so I make clumsy jokes on forums. Then I masturbate like a squirrel that has been given the two minute warning.

2-minute warning! Eh I need a few more than that. Hold on, I'll brb.

The two minute warning was a Carlin reference. He said that he wished to hear a warning two minutes before death. "you've got two minutes, get your **** together." Then he'd jump up if he were in a crowded are and start spewing biggotry against jews, homosexuals, and other minorities, and after 1:45 minutes dramatically yell out "...and may God strike me dead if it isn't so!"

just watched a few of his episodes on youtube, can't say i'm impressed. his humor is quite situational i guess. he's very aggressive toward western lifestyle so i guess he might seem funny to dudes who live in women dominated society full of religious fanatics and hypocritical censorship. here i've never even seen a real feminist in my life so for me all those puns are like "meh..."
okay some western peculiarities are funny, but when they laugh at their own stupidity and weakness, its disturbing.

on the other hand worbah is very funny. i'll miss him if he dies.

Eh, he was in Dogma? What did he play? Oh, now that I think about it, was he the bishop?

I never really knew George Carlin, but the things I just checked out on youTube did seem somehow familiar. I guess it's down to other comedians referencing his material. I guess it proves that there were/are  lots of those who respect(ed) his way of doing comedy. Seems to me he made fun of hypocrisy, bigotry and the wrong kind of morality (the I am holyer than thou-type). He was also an advocate for free speech, so I'm not surprised to find a lot of our forum members who like winding people up with sarcastic/borderline-offensive comments mourning him.
While I don't really mourn him or miss him (not having been that well acquainted with the man), I sure hope there are other comedians willing to be as boldly offensive to keep tit-piss ****-**** moralist cocksucker mother****ers in check.

I hope you read this with the context in mind before being offended by my choice of words.

I hoped that he would live much longer. Rest in peace dear George. I learned about him only last year when I heard his famous "Religion is a Bull****". He was very logical and persuasive. Then I heard his monologue about modern language and car accidents. They were just awesome! Especially I like his linguistic observations, because I'm liguist myself.
To my mind 71 is not such an old age. I would say that's a beginning of being real old man. So, he passed away too early. He was active & working till his last day, he was so anxious about his work that he haven't even thought about getting retired.
Bravo, George!

I've been a fan of his for many years, I liked his solution for the homeless problem which involved giving golf courses and graveyards over to the homeless because that is just wasted land anyway and maybe they could grow something on it. He lived a reckless sort of life and I'm glad that he lived as long as he did while still being funny.
