So last night I dug around to find a contact email to Taleworlds about the no troops upgrade bug and to my pleasant surprise I actually got a short but sweet response this morning.

Yeah I do agree it sucks but i'm glad a patch will be here soon. I can't really play anymore I just keep crasing I have yet to play for longer than 30 minutes without a crash now.

I'm not sure if this is an "official" forum of taleworlds. More like a community forum.
Admin seem to be from the community? (correct me if I am wrong).

Not sure how taleworlds look at this forum and in what sense it is an official place to get info and if the team running the forum is representative of Taleworlds.

It's official.
When you see user names in red text in the user list, those are devs.
Admins =/= devs.

True, true. They could always lock the post immediately after making it, however, so it functions solely as an announcement.
The flamers would need to create their own hate-filled thread...which hasn't seemed to be a problem for any so far.

Have you tried to force single threading.  I used to crash on Warband until I enabled this. It in the options screen on the screen that comes up before going into the actual game. (splash screen?)

But yeah I figured, since these forums have been absent of any dev response i would post the email.  Hope it adds happiness to the day.

Excellent, I'm looking forward to the patch. I wonder if there are other things in the game which are missing due to a bug, rather than devs taking it out (everyone initially thought the lack of troop levelling was intentional). I hope there's patch release notes so I can see if there are other things.

I hope they fix all the bugs soon and adds the language that in Steam are announced for this game ... Armagan is a person that can be thrust in my opinion .

This release is very buggy , game is stable in general with a superb multiplayer , but the single player part is very problematic with those quests bugged , the lvling troops bug , the bugs in the quick siges and some other minor things .

I don't really care about all t hose bugs because I asume that they will fix .
