Did you have fun Adaham? Think the game is balanced?
Fun...yes and no. I got seriously frustrated early on when we kept miscommunicating during our first two missions and it could have nearly lost us the game. I was convinced that it was unfair to have any sort of discussion at any point - and it was also unrealistic, as spies WOULD coordinate themselves somehow if they knew of each other. We still pulled it off, but there was a lot of luck involved. If we had managed to talk once before the game, we might have agreed on a certain rule to determine who does the deed. It might have helped us win this earlier, but it might have also helped the innocents figure us out earlier, so I think it would have been a win-win. Towards the end, it was almost impossible for the innocents to figure us out because our patterns didn't make sense at all.
So early on, of course, the usual distancing. I distanced myself from HULK, Eternal from me and I - sort of - from MaHuD. I was actually convinced for a rather long time that MaHuD must be the "unknown" spy, turned out it was Eternal. Regarding the missions, I was very frustrated. I basically kept thinking that MaHuD, as the more experienced player in this game, would take the lead and do the deed. I don't remember MaHuD's exact "wink" before the first mission, but if anything, my feeling was he was gonna do it. Llandy can attest, I grew very frustrated about the fact that my teammates didn't understand the genius logic by which I calculated they had to do the job.
For myself, I think I probably played this a bit too much like Werewolf, which is maybe not all that surprising. My daytime activity was mostly focussed on finding something to comment on that would make me look trustworthy, not caring that much about my voting patterns or subtle hints about who was going to do what. That means, that towards the end of the game I was becoming more and more quiet because the numbers stacked up seriously against me. Then in came Seff and he was totally right about everything and I could only try to discredit it by saying "that's like...your opinion, dude". Still, at that time I had to think he's the seer, even though Amontadillo's performance made me doubt that a lot, so hats off to Monty. In fact, I think Seff was the only one to ever suggest a team without any spy in it, so for me it was very important to discredit him, because if you went with his team once, we'd have had no chance (except that we probably would have guessed him right as the seer).
One last thing that pissed me off towards the end, was when MaHuD refused the penultimate team....WHY????? It had 3 spies on there and Vieira and Nipple were more or less sure to vote for it. When that team got rejected, I could only sit back and avoid opening my mouth, as the only thing I could have managed at that time would have been to incriminate one of my partners in crime. I think that was very risky...even though the group was divided, I think they were rather close to getting things worked out. After all, Seff's "all-mutant" team was up in the air already.
Anyhow, it was fun, even though I don't like playing a villain the first time around in a game. That way you don't learn to play the game, but you only learn how to cheat at it. Better to be an innocent first, or so I think.
Thanks everybody for playing and thanks to my spymates for the good job. Thanks Llandy for your great hosting and thanks EJnomad for calling me a brown noser

And Xardob...this was my revenge for WW
