I was mostly being sarcastic, but fair enough.
Well it was a question worthy of being either sarcastic or serious.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Lord de Calverly was dead. Sir MaHuD was still halfway through privy-duty. Lord Froggart was beginning to wish he was anywhere near old enough to retire to a little house in the country.

The plan laid out by Sir Twinksalot was elegant in its simplicity. The three brave knights selected to rescue the Lady de Calverly and her son would dress up as washer-women, many of whom travelled each day from the local village to perform their long, arduous, underpaid duties in Mordred's castle. In preparation for the rescue attempt, the knights had reconnoitered the castle and seen over the course of several days how easily the women came at dawn and went each nightfall; it would be no problem to sneak out the Lady and her son amidst a wagon full of dirty laundry.

Some of the knights began to wonder why every plan so far had involved most of them disguising themselves as women, but they had little time to dwell on the matter, for soon Sir Twinksalot, Sir Xardob the Hound and Sir Grimm were on their way to their destination. They reached the village and used some conveniently placed shrubbery to change into their disguises and stash their knightly armour until they could return to collect it.

Once clad as common washer-women, they set off for the castle. But as they neared the servant's entrance, it became obvious they had a problem most dire, for the guards at the gate were forcing all of the serving women to remove their bonnets and lower their hoods, so that their feminine faces could be seen.

"Perhaps we should have shaved," Sir Grimm mused, as he scratched at his week-old beard.

"I doubt it would have helped," said Sir Xardob. "It's obvious that somebody has leaked our plan to Mordred; even beardless, it is doubtful we would pass as women."

"We could stuff stockings down our dresses, to give the impression of ample bosoms?"

Sir Twinksalot and Sir Xardob met Sir Grimm's suggestion with the unimpressed silence it deserved.

"It's no use," Sir Twinksalot sighed. The other two could tell he was close to tears. "We'll have to return to Camelot empty-handed. Lord Froggart shall be verily pissed off."

And so the knights returned to report that their plan had been leaked and they had been unable to perform their duty. Twenty-four hours later, a package arrived for King Arthur.

It was Lady de Calverly's head.

Quest 3 - Beast-slayers

The Quest - Word in the town square is that some fell beast stalks the forest and moors around Avalon, killing cattle and sheep indiscriminately, taking human lives when it can. Villagers, now too scared to roam at night, lock themselves in their hovels and whisper frightened stories of some terrible fiend, red-eyed, tall as a horse, and with claws that can score through solid stone. Each morning, at the site of the killings, odd prints are found; prints which belong to no man or beast known in the kingdom. Under pain of torture, the local fool has confirmed that this is not a hoax on his behalf.

Three knights are needed to investigate this beast and to slay it if it can be found, for there is little doubt that Mordred is somehow behind this carnage.

Sir Xardob will lead the knights on this glorious quest.

I told you its ****ing xardob. He was even designated with a 'hound' nickname. Can we please just get grimmend phone and twinkle on the team?

Uh-huh, after failing to provide discussion or alternatives, continuing to do so while team leader and letting the time peter out in a laughable way. You're a spy, and I won't bother arguing it anymore.
I did. Plus lets not forget that I made plenty of posts but barely anyone replied. The reason I did not push myself for the team is also quite obvious. First mission is 2 people. I don't want to go on that mission and have some spy keep me on 50/50
You were going to choose that silly team regardless of what I said and I would be the next leader.
I could not predict people would go quiet once I became the leader and lastly I have not been super active overall as is evident by me missing the deadline. As neither a  spy nor a knight there is no  advantage to missing the deadline. I presume it doesnt count towards rejection and gets you banned for 2 nominations. Which is horrible for both roles really.

I think that you are afraid of successive wins for the knights and are therefor trying to blame me to keep atleast me out and secondly it is being attempted to divide grim and melter. Even if one of them is a spy the only way for people to be so adamant about it is if they KNOW that one of them is a spy or are just desperately trying to pull them apart. Once pulled apart it is easy to make one of them look bad.
One can already see how melter is getting suspicous of grimmend for no reason other than himself not being it.
I say twinkle grim and face is the best team here.
Between Xardob soot and aust I think there are two spies atleast. But its unlikely its all 3 so I will stick with 2 for now. Hm it would fit with them splitting up the first team but it wouldnt make sense to select a 3 spy team though since it was obvious to get rejected.. it wouldnt really matter.  Alternatively aust is the odd man out and just happened to select the other two but they did sort of copy him at the start so that could be manupilation. Just like xardob was led astray last game.
Hm,  I do actually think that this is different so nvm that thought. So that makes xardob soot and aust spies rest of us knights.
Thus once again I am all up for twinkle grimmend and facemelter.
Then after that, it doesn't matter who goes along since it requires 2 fails. So even if I cant be nominated it doesn't really matter.

By the way Aust, you said "I really don't know what to think of Twinkle and will reject any team with him in it, unless he makes a good post or two." - did you think he made good posts? I do not recall you ever mentioning as much. I do not think it is necessarily suspicious considering we did not have time to discuss the team Twinkie proposed, but am just curious.
No he didn't make good posts, but basically as I said above, I like Grimmend* and Xardob, but Twinkle, I just don't didn't know what to think of him. I haven't played him, but I've read two or three WW games with him in them and I couldn't read him then either. So I decided to roll the dice and I was wrong, with the singular sabotage, I'm fairly certain it is Twinkle. Second guess would be Grimmend, but I still like Grimmend for innocent.

Grimmend tends to play in a very silent manner, but he gets extremely defensive and whiny about it when he's evil. I don't see that this game, and I still think he's good. This does unfortunately mean that I think you're a spy, Phone, based on my previous thoughts that one of the two of you must be. If it had been two sabotages, I would definitely think oppositely, but with only one...

So, my new No-Approve list includes MaHuD, Phonemelter and Twinkle.
My Preferred-Go list includes Grimmend, Xardob, Sootshade and obviously myself.

I would really like to see some extended thoughts from Soot and Grimmend!

P.S.
I told you its ****ing xardob. He was even designated with a 'hound' nickname.
Oh puh-lease, you always jump to these kind of ridiculous stretches when you've been pegged. I do not believe that Llandy would make it that easy.

P.P.S.
Can we please just get grimmend phone and twinkle on the team?
With all the distancing that's been done between the two of them, now he wants this team? No, I don't like it.

As much as I hate to interfere with you guys and break the fourth wall, there is one teeny matter I thought I should clarify.

=D hilarious Aust.

For everyone else I would advise to read my post I quoted for phone. It answers and reveals all of austs bull****.
Xardob and aust are spies for sure. Soot I believe so as well but not as convincing as aust & xardob.

Well, I'm not currently not quite certain what to take from this mission team passing and then failing. The most simple adjustment would be what you are suggesting, Aust, but I will have to think it through a little.

My initial thoughts are:
1) I didn't like that Twinkle just suddenly decided on a team that had not been discussed, and was somewhat surprised that it passed as such. Then again, I can understand the desire to get the game actually moving forwards.
2) If Twinkle is a spy, he wouldn't want to pick another one in the same team with him, which would indeed make Grimm (and Xardob) resistance and probably Face a spy.
3) Mahud rejecting a team that failed seem to count in favor of him being resistance, to an extent. That is, unless he thought he could count on the team passing without his vote, which also makes me question my previous read of the game a little.
4) Grimm rejecting that team despite being on it would seem to make the most sense if he's resistance and believed strongly either Twinkle or Xardob to be a spy. At this point I would really like to know which. Another, fairly hypothetical, option would be that he is a spy that actually knew one of the other to be one also, in which case he'd not want to take a risk of revealing that there were two of them on the team.
5) This does also put Xardob's allegiance into question. I've liked him somewhat, but I can't say I'm fully confident that he wasn't the spy on the team.
6) Right now I think I trust Aust and Grimm the most, but everyone else is really up in the air.

I expected that if we failed my trust would be ruined among most, and MaHuD's overly zealous assurance of my innocence is disturbing at best. I honestly did think that I was going to have a successful team as usually my gut is right.

But that's about all I can say. I'm a good knight, but I was wrong.

~Twinkle, who understands the suspicion thrown his way due to the recent mission

Crazy theory time:

Twinkie is a spy. He wanted to keep Grimm and I together to keep confusing between the two of us going. After getting called out for that not being a good idea, he ends up choosing Grimm, the one that had previously been considered the most suspicious, in order to potentially throw more suspicion on him (which, amusingly enough, ended up having the opposite effect because Grimm rejected the mission). Aust would also have to be a spy then, considering he voted for the team even though he stated he didn't like Twinkie's posts, making their faux-distancing even more... faux. Xardob and Soot, being suggested to be on the same team as Aust, are likely both innocent unless Aust's goal was to have the team not accepted in the first place (which does not seem likely). MaHuD would then be the third spy.

Especially considering the team barely passed. I very nearly did not vote for it at all. If I were a spy, I have no way to communicate to MaHuD that I was going to change my mind.

Good points. MaHuD could have rejected it because he was banking on Grimm to accept it and wanted to look better when the mission failed.

I made it quite clear who my suspects are prior to the mission team being proposed. If one of my suspects gets voted in, why should I vote to approve it?
This reasoning of voting to reject it to look good, is solely based around the idea that the team 'looked good' in your ideas. Clearly it never did in my eyes, so what's up with these 'wanting to look good-wifom calculations' ? I did exactly what I said I was going to do.
It is the same as you did before when twinkle and I voted no, it was obvious why we voted no... yet people were still inclined to start speculating about it. It's simply clutching at straws by mostly spies.

So, I know there's at least one spy between Grimm and Twinkle. I doubt both of them are, though.

If it's Twinkle, then that would point towards Melter being a spy as well. If it's Grimm, that would clear Melter. Grimm is very quiet, so it's hard to guess his role, but I'm leaning towards innocent here, simply because it's similar to previous innocents Grimms I've seen.

I have two ideas for the next team. One would be me, Melter and Twinkle. If this team is successful, we've basically won the game. If the mission fails, I think we can be reasonably sure that the Spy team is Melter, Twinkle and MaHuD.

The other idea would be a combination of me, Aust, Soot and Grimm. I think this has a higher probability of successfully completing the mission, though it wouldn't help us very much in narrowing down the spies if it fails.

Thoughts?
