Is anyone else massively satisfied with this game? Everything about it is so unbelievably perfect. Its Resident Evil 4, easily one of the top Gamecube games ever, and my previous favorite game of all time, jacked up with new features and TWO players!! . (I refuse to admit the PS2 version of RE4 ever existed, it was just...lacking) And they just added a versus mode, which I really thought was going to be boring and stupid, but somehow it works for me...

I haven't really had this much fun with a game since I first got Mount and Blade.

I would describe it as a shooter with terrible controls and a whole mess of black dudes.

I might describe RE4 as a survival-horror game. This, never.

Nemesis is still one of my favorites from the series.

Followed by the Gamecube remake of the first one.

Hm. Well, I'll consider getting it. Could be mildly fun. But tell me, is it a split-screen one, or one of those lame-ass system connection co-ops? Because seriously, that **** sucks. Who want's to buy another damn xbox just to play with your brother?

ah yes, the good ol' days playing split-screen on a smallass monitor, now they've made bigass hd ones and want us to play on seperate ones with no split-screen option on a single 1.

That's probably the one thing I didn't like. The entire game was just so....easy. There was a general lack of anything frustrating. Even on hard, and even on professional. Professional is just dumb, you actually get MORE money and stuff. I remember playing Professional on RE4 and never being able to get past that part with the cabin. In this one, I rarely died fighting normal enemies. Those goddamn bug things that kill you in one hit were pretty much the only challenge. And I hated the controls too. I would say try Scheme A. It basically makes them exactly the same as they were for RE4, which were perfect. I only really enjoyed it after changing the controls to that.

And there is split-screen, but its also online.

I like how this series never ever takes place in Japan. It has settings in North America, South Western Europe, and Sub-Saharan Africa. It seems to me, Japanese people don't like shooting Japanese zombies. Survival horror in a built up metropolis would supposedly be quite a good game premise.

Well, yeah... I mean, everyone knows that zombies are a integral part of Japanese history! Just like giant enemy crab!

Agreed. But it doesn't really make sense with Resident Evil. Every place they choose for zombie-making or w/e is always isolated. Even Raccoon City was way out there. They wouldn't decide to build a secret lab in the middle of Tokyo.

Spoiler alert if you haven't seen the movies.

At the end of the third movie, the show the head office of Umbrella underneath Tokyo

The movies also have her running about with Kukris.
Thats a huge no no. Only Ghurkas should have Kukris.

But that's only headquarters. I don't know, I never saw the third one, but there shouldn't be a secret lab there.

The game was alright. I was feeling like fighting some greater power, and with this game, I really felt like I stopped the aids epidemic!

Lol (I actually did). That's also quite inappropriate and just wrong. Still funny

I also just realized the story for this game made NO sense, even by Resident Evil standards.

By Resident Evil standards, they take the time to revision everything after every game. How the hell can a global company, no matter how big, get away with building a 6 mile deep complex in the middle of Africa? I can just imagine the insurance companies talking about the 700 billion dollar charity writeoff that must of occured to get the funds.
