Research Topic-The Achaemenid Empire

So, this is a research topic, focused on posting images and general research and reference material. More than anything, I have need of material for the Empire. I admit I don't know much about its history or how they looked and most of the soldiers came from references posted in the old thread and also from Kauik's Troop tree, which he was so amazingly gracious to sent me, complete with names, roles and basic equipment.

So, in conclusion, here you can(and please do ) post anything releated to the Achaemenid Empire in the beginnings of the 5th century BC.



These are some things I want to make and equip them with. So far, I made some of them, more to follow:

Spoiler: I am quite interested on that helmet. I have made some attempts to re-create it, but me being inept in modelling, so far I have seen failure. But I will continue, as I am quite fond of it

Spoiler: Again, the helmet is what interests me the most. I have been able to partially make something. Also, the quilted armor seems quite nice and so does the shield.
