Can someone check this track I made and give me some feedback.

its a short action track but I fear it might be hard to follow.

Cheers in advance.

Did you write this?  If so, very well done.  What did you use?

The motifs are simple but arranged such that I didn't lose interest; something new introduced itself before it got old to my ear.  The syncopation is complex enough to keep it interesting, but not so complex that it becomes distracting.

I like the orchestral instrumentation.  The string patch is dominant; perhaps interject another tone for the main melody more often--like you do with the bassoon-ish tone here and there.  On the first listen through it was fresh.  On the second and subsequent listens it lost a bit of that--more so than a truly remarkable segment would, imo.  The middle-eastern flavor is exotic and interesting to me, being a westerner.

Dynamically it could perhaps be a bit more dramatic towards mid-end.  Build up more here, drop it down there.  The intro is nice.

You could get the clarinet playing a higher-pitched note where you have the spiccato strings playing. Perhaps even switch to the oboe, or flute, 'cause I'm starting to lose it at some point - not as much as to not hear it in the background, which kind of interferes with the strings at times, but more like, err...you know what happens when you add too much reverb, right? - well, it sort of sounds like that in it's current note, when the strings start. Sort of distracting since I can't tell which melody is the lead one.

That's to me of course, and maybe 'cause my headphones aren't even near to half-decent, so...

Indeed though, it could use a bit of a climax somewhere around 1:40.

Apart from that, it's an interesting hybrid between your older tracks and the ArmA ones.

Me likes!
