I wanted to be able to post a reply in the original thread, but it has been locked. Excellent post, every thing you said was completly true and I couldnt agree more. However its quite dissapinting that gamers who have purchased the game cannot play it because of the protection. I used an out of date pc when I bought the game, and even though my pc couldnt manage large battles I still loved it. It was then and still is the best pc game Ive played in a long time. Unfortunatly I recently got a high end gaming machine, complete with win64. Now I cannot play Mount and Blade. The creators of the game deserve every penny they've recieved for this game, and Im all for them doing anything thats possible to protect what they've created. I just wish that didn't mean being shut out for using an up to date machine. peace

Thank you ... I appreciate the kind words.

I hope that as the game nears full completion (ver 1.0), the bugs and glitches that prevent play on some people's machines will be fixed as well as support for incompatibilities like yours.

Armagan is a really great guy and is putting so much work into this game ... I assure you that if he is capable of fixing the problems that you are having ... he will.

If you haven't already ... could you hit the bug report/customer service area and see if your problem is mentioned there? I just scan the posts there rather than read them in their entirety ... but I'm fairly sure that Armagan keeps a close eye on them.

Stick around and don't despair,

Hi,

I wrote to Themida's author and asked about 64-bit support and he said that that's what he's working on right now and that 64 bit support will hopefully be ready by next month. I know that this is still inconvenient but at least the problem is going to be fixed in time.

And my special thanks for being so calm about this.

Armagan asked me to help out on the forums quite some time ago, but we were both busy with real life so it was somewhat dropped.

Last night (or early morning), he mentioned it again ... and *poof*.

Thanks for that comment by the way ... very much appreciated.
