Would be a fun feature to have, but I would guess that recording the battle would slow it down quite a lot- people often say this happens when they are using third party recording software to make videos for Youtube etc, and I don't think there's any way around this problem. I remember people asking for battle replays in Rome Total War, but the developers said it couldn't be done.

Thanks Therodenne, I didn't realise it was possible for MTW". Now I think about it, I do actually remember watching some battel replays for Rome. Still, I do think it might slow the frame rate a lot on M&B. It could be a problem when people use battle sizer, but perhaps viable for the more traditional M&B skirmishes.
