Recruit

Hi!
Since slings have already been implemented in multiplayer, it would make more sense for looters and other low level bandits to use them instead of throwing rocks by hand. It is still a big meme in the threads about how deadly rocks thrown by hand can be in large numbers. It breaks suspension of disbelief.
If rocks were slung instead of thrown it would be a lot more believable to the player and add more variety. I'm not sure why slings are in multiplayer and not single player.
I'm a slinger, and you can categorize slings as throwing weapons. Like an atlat or throwing string helps you throw a spear, a sling helps you throw a shot or rock. It would be a cool throwing weapon category, and as in real life, the deadliness of the sling can be increased by the kind of ammunition - rock, river stone, clay ball, or lead shot. It would also be nice to buy and equip them. This was done in Warband's Viking conquest expansion and it made a lot more sense than thrown rocks. It would also make a great deal of sense for Bedouin rovers to have slings or throwing rocks, as they are currently the easiest bandit troop to kite.
