Repeatedly fighting bandit camps

I have fought Mountain Bandit Hideout North-West of Morenia 3 or 4 times now and it keeps getting rebuilt immediately afterwards. Morenia castle is my only fief in my current game so I need the camp to be gone, but they just keep rebuilding it and more and more bandits spawn in it. Right now after beating it for the 3rd time it got rebuilt with 44 mountain bandits across 5 parties in the camp.

Bandits are a mess at the moment, I've got like 3-4 groups of bandits on screen at any given moment and there's unbeatable camps all over the place. Villagers can barely make it to cities for me.
