Need More Info repeatedly activate the warband

after i enter my serial key from steam, the UI shows that the game has been activated successfully. but after i press the "OK" button the activation UI shows again.and in the game it is not activated successfully. i have just played it yesterday!

not on steam，i download it from internet with several mods but i have played with these mods for a long time.
