Renown Broken?

I started a new game and went around recruiting heroes. With 18 heroes, I triggered a fight against a 136 strong lord party.

Renown for the battle was 27 points.


How exactly is this weighted?

Maybe its a disbelief thing?

"Twenty people fought and defeated over a hundred in battle? Nah, impossible"

Unfortunately, 60 vs 100+ gave me 3-4 renown, so I lost my temper and edited the data file.

My char is lvl 43 legit, 10 points in powerstrike & horseriding. He has best armour and big long lance.
He has 29 champignons all legit best is Ulrich lvl 35 last time i looked, all wear thick armour, ride fat hores.

i would fight 140 mamluks every day, because they are the waekest faction on world lol

On the topic, I think renown system works great. You can't expect to win a few tough battles and be as renowned as most kings. It's a long, gradual yes, sometimes painful but rewarding process. :]
