Renown and Bandit queries

Im struggling to increase my party size which is currently at 86. I figured that the best way to increase the size of your party was through Charisma and Leadership skills but it appears not as my character is lvl 25 with charisma at 17 and leadership at 5. My party size hasnt increased as much as I thought it would.
So, it must be renown that is best to increase party size, am I right in thinking that?

Now I need more bandits to fight in order to increase renown. I hardly ever see bandits in this mod and other Lords usually out number me so I cant fight them. I hear TweakMB does not work with this mod anymore so could someone point me in the direction of the file that needs to be changed to increase bandit spawns?

CHA increases in 1 more people
Leadership increases in 5 more people
Renown helps too, you can gain renown in tournaments, that will help a lot. Bandits usually disappear due to lots of patrols. And you get only good renown in large battles where you're outnumbered

bandits are really rare indeed, but if you want constant fight to inrease your xp, than you should go to the baltic region. there are always bands of 50 bloodthirsty curlandians and prussians. with 84 men in your party, you could beat them, but you have to fight hard (good xp source).

Last time I was in western Europe I found large group of bandits, cool zone to level troops

I see, well I think I'll start tagging along with the other lords and take my army on holiday to the baltic region. I presume that getting a large army of your own is a realistic option, it will just take some time? I cant see how one starts their own kingdom with just 80 odd men.

I did.

But they were all Knights.
